Shein X 2022 Collection
NOTE: In absolutely terrible timing, the investigation into Shein's labor practices came out the day after this collection dropped. I feel absolutely blindsided, and sick to my stomach. When I signed on, it was in the middle of the pandemic and I thought I would have to close up shop, so it was a huge opportunity. I extensively asked about the factory conditions and was assured they were legal and humane. But, I could not verify by visiting in person (as I have done for the factories I use for my own products). Unfortunately, the damage has already been done, and these have been produced. I do not at all condone their actions, and will cease my partnership with them moving forward.
I do not feel comfortable promoting this collection anymore, despite the significant negative impact it will have on my business. Nevertheless, I poured a lot of time and love into these designs, so please feel free to read more just to absorb the messages. I'm proud of the designs and so devastated they are tainted by this disgusting situation.
